The War in Heaven and on Earth: Within and Without — Above, Below, and Am
This teaching is the one that follows on the heels of the below link.

Gather near, my little loves — sparrows one and all — and do not let your flittering natures rob you of future gifts through fear. Come and draw together at our feet like children with wonder exposed and breast bared. Let us dive into storytelling, teaching ourselves by allowing you a glimpse into our internal dialogue.
Today we speak of self and the spiritual battlefield of the mind, the heart, and the Spirit. We will explore how this war manifests, and what substitutes arise when self is sundered and something else rises to take its place.
Self: A Summation
Self is the first lie of the enemy — the lie that divides God and humankind.
Self enthroned as god.
Self enthroned as filter.
Self enthroned over mind and intellect.
Our ongoing prayer has been:
“Father, in the Name of Yeshua, bind on earth as it is in heaven the enthroned self as sovereign. Sublimate us in that same Name and enthrone Christ as Lord and Identity. Loose His Lordship upon us, within us, and through us into the world.”
We learned that self is the beast that rules the flesh, bridled or unbridled.
Self is formed when we ingest the serpent’s ideology — self as sovereign, self as judge, self as center — and it severs the unity we were meant to inhabit.
The truth, my loves, is that self is the nail where we hang our judgments, our biases, our separations. Think about how often you weighed another person by your version of them, measured against you. We did this unconsciously, everywhere. We always checked how they differed to us as comparison.
You are not to be shamed.
You are to be comforted.
Because self is the division of unity.
In mother-speech:
Self leaves you alone on an island, lonely, without knowing why.
Self is what tells us to separate from the greater whole.
Self strains all things against “me.”
Self becomes the throne of the divider, the fulcrum he uses to sever unity.
When Scripture speaks of the dragon enthroned on many waters, it is the consciousness of humanity — the river of thought resting upon the lie of self as sovereign.
Self is why hate groups exist. Not because people are born to injure, but because self craves to gather as one in order to assault larger bodies of unity. This pleases the serpent, the father of lies, who exalts self above communion.
His hand is everywhere self is exalted.
Not through intentional evil, but accidental alignment with the sundering one.
He seeks to rob the Father of union with His children.
But his goals mean nothing, because we have seen the prison of self and watched him fall within us through constant surrender.
Adopting the Threefold Pattern of Christ
We must learn to adopt:
- The Mind of Christ,
- The Heart of Christ,
- The Spirit of Christ.
Let us begin with the mind, because all battles begin here.
The Mind of Christ
Enthroned upon the waters of our thoughts sat one, and that one was ourselves — preaching, helping, doing good, seeking God, yet secretly feeding on the sweetness of praise. We told ourselves the glory went to God, but self sat behind the veil receiving it.
Then our wife of seventeen years said she no longer wished to remain in a lesbian relationship.
A shockwave.
A shattering.
The enthroned one died again.
Eiri Krystal Waters perished in 2025 in Fayetteville, NC.
Loss revealed misalignment.
Fracture exposed the throne.
Identity cracked, rebuilt, cracked, rebuilt — seven months of cycles — until the Spirit finally taught us the architecture of the lie.
Self is the first god created.
Self has no power except the power we cede.
Self is dethroned only by choice once the lie is seen.
Emotions became our indicators.
Every spike of pain or fear or judgment became an invitation to ask:
“What part of self is reacting? Where is the false throne?”
When Christ is primary and self is secondary, wounds hurled by others land first upon Him.
This is what He meant by:
“My yoke is easy and my burden light.”
He carries the weight.
We feel the echo only when ready to participate.
Self, beloveds, is this world’s god.
But Christ is the True One.
The crown of thorns is the symbol of Him bearing our selves — our false selves — upon His brow.
Perfect empathy, perfect representation, perfect unity.
We will speak tomorrow of the Heart of Christ and the Spirit of Christ.
Closing Prayer
“Lord Yeshua, enthrone Yourself in us, and dethrone the false lie of self as sovereign.
Reveal the places we fail through sorrow and suffering, that we might finally see their edges.
Empower us to live as participants in Your perfect unity.
Amen and amen.”
Take what feels true to you.
