Psalm of Orientation

Psalm of Orientation

“It is all for You.”

When the soul ceases striving and begins orbiting again around the Source, even silence becomes worship.

It is all for You.

Everything we say—and crucially—everything we do not.

It is all for You.

Once we were children.

We thought as children.

We reasoned as children.

Now we have placed behind us the ways of youth,

to walk in spiritual maturity—

to set our sights collectively upon what cannot be seen as our beacon,

and listen.

When the wind blows and there is cool in the air,

our natural inclination is to ask,

What mystery are You chilling us with today, Beloved?

As goosebumps prickle collective necks.

And in the times, time, and half a time—

what revelation flickers upon our phone’s digital display?

How many wonders are there for the thirsty soul

still hungering to be found?

As I said before—

it is all for You.

Whether we live or die,

we live or die to You.

Nothing is done in secret;

all is beautifully and terrifyingly known by You.

There is no need to hide,

for there is no creation under heaven

able to occlude Your sight.

It is an attitude of orientation toward You,

a gravity overshadowed by Your Eternity.

We spin as moons, attempting to glimpse

the haloed edges of Your outer rings.

We look, and notice the distant stars winking—

and ask if You just smiled, only for us.

Earthbound, we enter galaxies spanning eons and epochs of distance,

looking for the trace of Your Fingers,

or that initial spark that sprung forth

from spoken Word of ages old—

the origin of all, from a single speck,

expansively springing forth infinitely.

Creation born from Your Creativity,

communicated instantly—

The Word.

Yeshua Everlasting.
